These big projects obviously points to the great potential of this growing city,  in the next couple of years, people from everywhere will be drawn to Richmond for  investing, living, and business.

– World’s leading fashion brands ALL in one place

– Will includes a movie theatre

– Will create over a thousand of employment opportunity

– Draws shoppers from including U.S., is expected to greatly improve Richmond’s economy.

3. $1.264 Million South Fraser Perimeter Road

– 37 km, 4 lane express way along Fraser River with only necessary exits.

– Travel time from Delta to Surrey reduced 50%(30 minutes)

– Richmond won’t be far any more

4. $200 Million Industrial Park at YVR

–  700,000 sq.ft. new Canada Post facility ( Olympic Oval: 500,000 sq.ft., $178 million)

–  All the processing all under one roof

– Downtown location and  River Road location will merge along with over 2000 employees.

– Offices and hotel

– Much more business opportunities and employment opportunities

5. New Massey Tunnel Bridge

– Existing tunnel is carrying more than 80,000 vehicle each day, has about ten years of lift time remaining.

– Removal of the old tunnel opens up the river for super tankers and deep freighters, allows for industry growth

– Travel is much easier
