2016 Property Value Was Increased by 10-15% From 2015

Each year, BC Assessment sends out property value assessment report to each and every property owner. Your property tax is based on that property value assessment. Different cities use different percentages when calculating the property tax.
This year (2016) the property value all over Lower Mainland was increased by 10-15% from 2015. The increase was considerable. For those who plan to sell their properties this year, that is a very good news.
